The eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 adopts four 2.2GHz A53 cores + four 1.5GHz A53 cores, and big.LITTLE large and small core design. Unlike the ARM Cortex-A53, which cannot run on high main frequencies, Huawei solved this problem and independently developed the Library on the basis of the Cortex-A53, forming a new A53 architecture, so that the processor can run stably on 2.0GHz. At the same time, it also makes the new A53 core the main big core.
Huawei’s choice of this A53 design can better balance power consumption and performance, which not only improves the performance of large cores, but also controls power consumption within an acceptable range. At the same time, in the Kirin 935 chip, Huawei also added a coprocessor, which is based on ARM TrustZone’s hardware security technology, with Huawei’s EMUI 3.1 operating system, built-in encryption algorithm, support secure boot, can effectively protect user information and payment security. This function is the same as the coprocessor of fingerprint recognition technology in Huawei’s previous Mate 7.
High performance and low power consumption are actually fish and bear’s paw in many cases, but Huawei mobile phones have been doing well in this regard with the help of Kirin series processors, and Kirin 935 is even better. The Kirin 935 core works with the world’s first App power consumption firewall built into Huawei P8, which can shield abnormal power applications, which according to Huawei’s data, can extend its standby time by 2.3 days, normal use for 1.5 days, and heavy use for 1 day.

Judging from my 4G speed test at Haidian Huangzhuang Station – Huixin West Street North Exit Station of Metro Line 10, the Huawei P8 has an uplink speed of 9.71Mbps and a downlink speed of 21.74Mbps. Friends who often take this line should know that the network signal of this section of the road is actually not very good compared to other subway lines in Beijing, and Huawei P8 can measure this result during the rush hour.
Looking at the game test, we chose Real Racing 3, which is a relatively large racing game on mobile devices. Huawei P8 runs the real racing 17, the game loading speed is good, the game process is relatively smooth, playing for about half an hour, the heat of the fuselage is also controlled within an acceptable range.
